The North County Life With Jerrod Waller & Jonathan Stone

About the Agents

Agents’ Community Background and Involvement

Both Jerrod Waller and Jonathan Stone have been members of the north county inland community since childhood. They have experienced the surrounding areas mature and grow, while still maintaining a strong community feeling. Both agents attended Poway High School, then continued on to San Diego State University and University of San Diego.

After college, Jerrod and Jonathan became increasingly more involved within their communities. They have given their time to organizations that help residents and businesses.

Jerrod Waller

Jerrod Waller has enjoyed living in San Diego for the last 21 years. He joined Hogue and Belong Realty® in 2007, adding 8 years of residential and commercial real estate experience to the brokerage. Before joining Hogue and Belong Realty®, Jerrod acquired residential loan experience with Wells Fargo and Union Fidelity Mortgage, during which time he ranked within the top 10% in loan volume from 2003-2007.

Jerrod utilizes his real estate and loan experience in advising clients regarding all aspects of their real estate transactions. He combines time-tested marketing techniques with creative sales approaches to achieve quick sales at top-dollar for his clients. Additionally, Jerrod works with potential buyers to systematically locate the home that best suits their needs and present offers based on educated analyses of current market conditions.

In 2002 and 2003, Jerrod had the opportunity to participate in “Tribute to Heroes,” a fundraiser for Children’s Hospital and the dependants of the United States Military. Additionally, Jerrod sat on the board of “The Aztec Classic,” an event that was the single largest day fundraiser for college athletics. Both events were organized and sponsored by local Poway businesses. Jerrod also helped provide corporate sponsorship for the Poway Rodeo.

Jonathan Stone

Jonathan Stone, born and raised in Poway, California, graduated from Poway High School, and has lived in San Diego all his life. Although Jonathan has several degrees and accolades, Jonathan’s relevant experience is that in the past he sold homes and personal loans, managed 30+ residential properties for a private investor, was a residential sales representative and a sales manager for ADT, and was a territory manager in the multi-family laundry and utility markets. Having learned a great deal about the multi-family and residential markets over the years, Jonathan earned his real estate license and began his real estate career. Jonathan’s diverse knowledge of the residential market from his past experiences enables him to provide unique perspectives on properties to both his buyers and sellers.

Jonathan devotes much of his personal time to Rotary International in addition to serving as their Holes for Heroes Golf Tournament co-director. He is also on the board of directors for Sullivan Children’s Charities and is a member of the 11-99 Highway Patrol Foundation and Honorary Deputy Sheriffs Association. Jonathan’s other achievements include being a member of the Eagle Scouts, a Black Belt in Taekwondo (ATA), a member of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and founder of the Ski Club (at the University of San Diego), President of the Rotary Club, and a leader in the Service Learning Program.
